Worship Director
Orchard Hill Church — Part-Time Position
Orchard Hill Church is seeking a part-time
Worship Director
to help lead our church family in worship and point people to Jesus. Were looking for a spiritually mature, musically gifted leader who loves the local church, values team ministry, and wants to help people encounter God through Christ-centered worship.
About the Role
Lead Worship:
Lead worship for weekend services with a heart for helping people worship Jesus in spirit and truth.
Plan Sets & Rehearsals:
Plan worship sets, prepare rehearsals, and coordinate volunteers through Planning Center.
Recruit & Develop:
Recruit, encourage, and develop worship and tech team volunteers.
Pastoral Partnership:
Partner with the Lead Pastor to support the message, mission, and ministry direction of Orchard Hill Church.
Church Gatherings:
Participate in key church-wide gatherings such as Christmas Eve, Easter, Fall Fest, and other all-call events.
Time Commitment
Part-time role averaging approximately
10 hours per week
.
Lead worship
four out of every five weekends
.
Meet weekly for worship planning and attend staff meetings
twice per month
.
Participate in a
monthly one-on-one
focused on discipleship, health, and development.
What Were Looking For
A growing relationship with Jesus and a life marked by humility, faithfulness, and spiritual maturity.
Strong musical ability and confidence leading vocally and/or instrumentally.
A heart for worship that is biblically grounded, engaging, and centered on Jesus.
Experience leading, caring for, and developing volunteers.
Clear communication, dependability, and a collaborative spirit.
Comfort using technology for worship planning and team communication, including Planning Center.
Spiritual Requirements
Yielded to the Lordship of Jesus in all areas of life.
Fully aligned with the vision and mission of Orchard Hill Church.
Committed to living as an everyday disciple of Jesus.
Teachable, disciple-able, and willing to receive and offer support within the Orchard Hill Church culture.
