Job description
Manchester Memorial Hospital, part of Eastern Connecticut Health Network, seeks a Wound Care Nurse Practitioner to deliver advanced wound management in an inpatient and outpatient setting. Responsibilities include performing comprehensive wound assessments, developing and implementing evidence-based treatment plans, performing debridement and other procedures, coordinating care with physicians and allied health professionals, and educating patients and families on wound prevention and self-care. The NP will track outcomes, document thoroughly in the EMR, and contribute to quality improvement initiatives.
