Nurse Practitioner – Outpatient Wound Care
nRome, New York | Full-Time
nHealogics is seeking a Nurse Practitioner to join its hospital-based wound care clinic in Rome, New York. This outpatient role offers hands-on procedures, an established support team, and a predictable Monday–Friday schedule with no nights, weekends, holidays, or on-call coverage.
nWe're looking for an NP who enjoys a fast-paced clinical setting, has strong clinical judgment, and wants to build expertise in wound care. Experience in urgent care, emergency medicine, or another procedure-focused setting is valued. Wound care experience is preferred but not required; training is provided.
nWhat You'll Do
nnEvaluate and treat adult and geriatric patients with acute and chronic wounds.
nDevelop treatment plans, monitor progress, and adjust care as needed.
nPerform procedures such as debridement, incision and drainage, and suturing as appropriate.
nCollaborate with the clinical team and educate patients on their care.

nn40 hours per week; daytime appointments only, with no walk-ins

nnActive, unrestricted NP license and current DEA license
nBoard certification as a Nurse Practitioner
