nHouston Methodist Specialty Physician Group is seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Physician with expertise in Wound Care to join our multidisciplinary team at Houston Methodist The Woodlands Hospital.

nThe Wound Care Physician will provide comprehensive evaluation and management of acute and chronic wounds within a dedicated wound care center, collaborating closely with specialists and primary care colleagues.

nThis is a part-time outpatient opportunity offering a competitive compensation package in The Woodlands - one of the most desirable and rapidly growing communities in the Greater Houston area.

nPosition Highlights

nPart-time (3 day weekly)

nOutpatient practice

nEvaluate and manage complex acute and chronic wounds, including diabetic foot ulcers, venous and arterial ulcers, pressure injuries, surgical wounds, and non-healing wounds

nPerform procedural interventions including sharp debridement, incision and drainage, and minor surgical procedures

nUtilize advanced wound therapies including skin substitutes/biologics, negative pressure wound therapy, and hyperbaric oxygen therapy (where applicable)

nParticipate in multidisciplinary wound rounds and coordinate care across specialties

nDevelop individualized treatment plans focused on healing outcomes and prevention

nNo night, weekend or observed holiday work.

nBoard Certified or Board Eligible in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine

nWound Care certification preferred, interest in wound care and hyperbaric medicine welcome

nEligible for Texas medical licensure
