nWound Care Physician at UNCHMG /UNC Wayne in Goldsboro, NC
nWe are committed to providing quality and cost-effective medical care to a diverse population of patients with chronic medical conditions and special needs, therefore, we are seeking to add a Wound Care Physician to the team. The practice has two physicians and two APPs. Two hyperbaric chambers, a busy practice with full panel, hospital privileges and hospital consults. There will be no afterhours hospital call.
nSchedule: Monday - Thursday 730am-5pm and Friday 730am-1pm
nEMR: EPIC
nQualifications and Required Skills
nnnGraduated from an accredited Doctor of Medicine or Doctor of Osteopathy school
n
nnWound Care experience and/or training required
n
nnPhysicians with advanced training in wound management and hyperbaric oxygen therapy preferred
n
nnNew trainees are welcome to apply
n
nnBoard Certified or Board Eligible
n
n nGeneral Responsibilities
nnnDebridement
n
nnTopical wound therapy
n
nnGrowth-factor therapy
n
nnTissue therapy
n
nnDressing selection
n
n nCompensation:
