WV Property & Casualty Insurance Agent – Temp-to-HireUnited Talent is seeking a professional, customer-focused Property & Casualty Insurance Agent for a temp-to-hire opportunity with an established insurance agency in West Virginia. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working directly with customers, providing insurance solutions, and building long-term client relationships.Schedule & Pay: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM. Pay starts at $17.00/hour. Once fully trained, commission structure will be implemented.Responsibilities: The Insurance Agent will work directly with current and prospective customers and will be responsible for:Answering incoming customer calls and providing professional assistanceDiscussing customers' insurance needs and coverage optionsPreparing and providing insurance quotesAssisting customers with changes to existing insurance policiesReviewing policy information and answering general coverage questionsProviding excellent customer service to current and prospective policyholdersMaintaining accurate customer and policy informationEntering and updating information within Agency Matrix CRMCompleting general clerical and administrative dutiesProcessing insurance-related documentation and correspondenceFollowing up with customers regarding quotes, policy changes, renewals, and requested informationMaintaining confidentiality of customer and policy informationWorking with insurance carriers and agency staff to resolve customer questions or concernsInsurance Knowledge: Candidates should have a basic understanding of Property & Casualty insurance products. Depending upon the agency's book of business, this may include:Homeowners insuranceRenters insuranceAutomobile insuranceCommercial property insuranceGeneral liability insuranceCommercial automobile coverageWorkers' compensationOther Property & Casualty products offered by the agencyLicensing Requirements: A current West Virginia Property & Casualty Insurance Producer license is required.Candidate Requirements:Current Property & Casualty insurance license preferredPrevious insurance agency experience is a plusBasic knowledge of insurance terminology and coverageStrong customer service skillsExcellent telephone etiquette and communication skillsProfessional and friendly demeanorStrong attention to detailBasic computer and clerical skillsAbility to learn insurance software and CRM systemsAbility to manage multiple customer requests and prioritiesDependable, organized, and willing to learnAbility to maintain confidential customer informationIf interested, call United Talent at or apply online at
