Job description
WXOU is the soundtrack of Oakland University. Every year, we put on live radio shows, podcasts, news articles, concerts, and much more.
This position is great for you if you:
Enjoy writing, both professionally and for fun.
Are able to effectively review articles to publish on our website.
Have a creative vision, and are able to set independent goals.
Have experience with leadership.
In this position, you may occasionally be asked to:
Help set up various events.
Learn how to use and operate audio equipment.
Requirements:
Expected weekly commitment: 5 hrs minimum
Experience with news broadcasting OR article writing/editing
