X‑Ray Technologist

Responsibilities
Maintain compliance with Federal and State regulations, guidelines, and requirements, including HIPAA.
Prepare exam and treatment rooms for patient intake.
Perform nursing duties such as measuring vital signs, drawing blood, giving injections, and performing clinical tasks.
Observe patients, chart, and report changes in conditions, including adverse reactions to medication or treatment.
Operate or oversee the operation of X‑ray equipment to produce images for diagnostic purposes.
Explain procedures and ensure patient safety and comfort during X‑ray scans.
Ensure imaging equipment is operating properly.
Prepare and maintain supplies and equipment for treatment.
Assist patients utilizing a Virtual Medicine Provider.
Accurately complete patient charts in a timely manner and forward charts as appropriate daily.

Maintain friendly, cordial relations with all clients and employees; foster a positive work atmosphere through respectful communication.
Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Additional Requirements for Centers of Excellence
Complete all required preceptor training to onboard and train new hires.
Engage with Learning and Development to manage onboarding and training of new employees.
Meet new employees on their first day and facilitate welcome, introductions, facility tours, and clinic process overview.
Partner with Learning and Development and new hires to establish and review training plans and schedules.
Submit weekly evaluations of trainee progress and communicate concerns to operations leadership and learning and development as needed.
Complete final evaluation and Proof of Proficiency form on the final training day and submit to learning and development.
Experience Requirements and Preferences
Minimum 1 year of experience as an X‑ray Technologist, preferably in a clinic setting or urgent care.
Education Requirements
High School Diploma or equivalent.
License Requirements
Limited Scope X‑ray Technologist License, American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT), Full Scope X‑ray Technologist State License compliance.
Indiana Residents Only: Limited Scope License requires a State License and proof of ARRT License.
Compliance
Mississippi Residents Only: Pre‑employment drug/alcohol testing is required. Further information: Miss. Code. Ann. § 71‑7‑3(5).
