DESCRIPTION

Radiologic Technologist (X-ray Technician)

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Radiologic Technologist to join our healthcare team. This vital role involves performing diagnostic imaging procedures to assist physicians in diagnosing and treating patients. Key Responsibilities:

Prepare patients for X-ray procedures by explaining the process and ensuring their comfort and safety.

Operate X-ray equipment to produce high-quality diagnostic images.

Position patients accurately to capture the necessary images while minimizing radiation exposure.

Maintain and calibrate imaging equipment to ensure optimal performance.

Review images for clarity and proper positioning; retake images if necessary.

Maintain detailed patient records and ensure confidentiality of medical information.

Follow safety protocols to protect patients and staff from unnecessary radiation exposure.

Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to interpret results and plan further treatment.

Skills and Qualifications:

Certification or licensure as a Radiologic Technologist (ARRT or equivalent).

Proven experience in performing X-ray procedures.

Strong understanding of anatomy, positioning, and radiographic techniques.

Excellent communication and patient care skills.

Ability to operate and troubleshoot radiographic equipment.

Attention to detail and accuracy in image capturing and record-keeping.

Knowledge of safety standards and radiation protection protocols.

Ability to work effectively in a team environment and handle multiple priorities.
