Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8 or 10-hour shifts, typically 10:30 AM - 7:00 PM
About the Opportunity
We are seeking a Registered X-Ray Technologist to join a growing imaging team in Newnan, GA. This is a great opportunity for both experienced technologists and new graduates who are already registered and looking to establish their career with a supportive team.
The department offers a Monday-Friday schedule, a strong team environment, and opportunities to expand your skills into additional imaging modalities as you gain experience.
Schedule & Call
Full-time, Monday-Friday
8 or 10-hour shifts
Typical schedule is 10:30 AM - 7:00 PM
Rotating call shared among the technologists, typically one week every 4 weeks
Call is limited to after-hours call-ins, weekends, and holidays
Time-and-a-half when called in
2-hour minimum for call-ins
Responsibilities
Perform diagnostic X-ray examinations safely and efficiently
Operate radiographic equipment and obtain high-quality diagnostic images
Provide compassionate patient care throughout the imaging process
Follow radiation safety standards and established protocols
Work collaboratively with radiologists, physicians, and other members of the healthcare team
Qualifications
Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program
ARRT Registered in Radiography (R) required
New graduates are welcome to apply
BLS certification required or obtainable according to employer requirements
Strong communication and patient-care skills
This position offers the opportunity to cross-train into MRI, CT, IR, and other imaging areas once you have established yourself in the department and gained a solid foundation of experience.
