Job description

Job Title: XR Innovation Lab Deployment & Stakeholder Engagement Lead

Location: East Hanover, NJ

Duration: 12 months

Scope:

Emerging Technology Execution:

- Deep XR/AR/VR/holographic expertise, plus AI fluency (prototyping, code refactoring, horizon scanning)

- Must translate technical capabilities to non-technical marketing stakeholders

- Experience delivering at scale in a marketing (not training/manufacturing) context

- Outstanding communication skills are non-negotiable

- Logistics, Deployment, and Coordination

- Coordination and stakeholder consulting across brand teams and therapeutic areas

- Adaptive, real-time intelligence reads unstated needs, manages shifting funnel

- Disposition matters as much as skill: teams should be glad to see this person on a call

- Manages hard, fixed congress deadlines with no room for slippage

Key Evaluation Criteria:

- Communication skills: absolute baseline, no exceptions

- Marketing experience prioritized over pharma/healthcare background

- Pharma is a tiebreaker, not a requirement

- XR experience in experiential/messaging contexts (90-120 second high-impact delivery), not training

- Startup experience a strong plus: fast ideation, high volume, client-facing delivery

- Agility and adaptability weighted heavily over years of experience

- Local/regional presence required: innovation lab in East Hanover, expect at least weekly on-site

- Use cases are continuously evolving; no fixed number of predetermined XR experiences

- KPIs and Fragility

- KPIs tied to reach, engagement, and messaging impact per congress; baselines set with each brand team

- New metrics being introduced: pre/post QR activation touchpoints, AI-driven second-order impact analysis

- Cost-efficiency is the easiest metric to demonstrate (apples-to-apples comparison)

- System’s greatest fragility: pace of technological acceleration and disruption

- Congress format, HCP behavior, and device form factors all shifting rapidly

- XR glasses (beyond headsets) already in prototype testing under NDA

Job Description:

- Manage multiple concurrent initiatives with changing priorities, timelines, and stakeholder expectations.

- Anticipate stakeholder needs, including requirements that may not be explicitly communicated.

- Coordinate equipment readiness, deployment logistics, technical support arrangements, and onsite execution.

- Maintain visibility into the innovation pipeline, upcoming events, delivery milestones, and operational dependencies.

- Proactively identify delivery risks and resolve issues before they impact event readiness.

- Ensure all deployment activities align with fixed congress and event deadlines.

- Facilitate stakeholder meetings, capture requirements, communicate progress, and coordinate follow-up actions.

- Support measurement of engagement, audience reach, activation, and messaging effectiveness.

- Work with marketing teams to establish event-specific success measures and capture post-event feedback.

- Identify opportunities to improve deployment efficiency, operational processes, and scalability.

- Experience delivering initiatives against fixed, non-negotiable deadlines.

- Ability to remain composed, resourceful, and solutions-oriented in high-pressure situations.

- Collaborative personality with a strong service mindset and the ability to build trust with stakeholders.

- Experience coordinating technology vendors, creative teams, and onsite event support.

- Familiarity with engagement analytics, audience activation metrics, and event performance measurement.

- Pharmaceutical or healthcare marketing experience is a plus but not required.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

- A highly personable, proactive coordinator who builds strong relationships, anticipates problems before they arise, and brings structure to a fast-moving innovation environment.

- This individual should be someone stakeholders genuinely enjoy working with—approachable, responsive, adaptable, and capable of navigating changing requirements without losing focus on execution.

- Key Success Factors: Stakeholder satisfaction, flawless event execution, on-time delivery, operational efficiency, adaptability, and effective cross-functional coordination.
