Job DescriptionJob DescriptionPropTester, Inc. is an independent laboratory in Cypress, TX, focusing on researching and testing products for hydraulic fracturing & cement operations. We apply industry standards to qualify fluid, proppant performance, and cement integrity to enhance well productivity and profitability for oil and gas companies. Our services include proppant testing, long-term conductivity, fluids performance, and cement quality analysis.
Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role as a XRD Technician / Lab Technician at PropTester Inc. in Cypress, TX. The role involves conducting XRD Tests on Silica Sand and Drill Cuttings. In addition this position might also work in our API 19C Frac Sand testing lab. PropTester is the one of the top labs that perform tests on various products used in hydraulic fracturing & cement operations, analyzing data, maintaining equipment, and ensuring quality control measures are met.
Qualifications
Laboratory Testing, Data Analysis, and Equipment Maintenance skills
XRD / Geology experience is a minimum requirement
Knowledge of API practices and ISO standards
Quality Control and Assurance experience
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to work independently and in a team
Experience in the oil and gas industry is a plus
Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Geology, Engineering, or related sciences field
