Key Responsibilities

1. Core System Administration (Day-to-Day Operations)

· Maintain and administer the Coupa platform, ensuring the system remains stable and operational.

· Manage user access, permissions, and approval workflows.

· Oversee basic configuration changes, sandbox refreshes, and support bundle/update activities.

· Support internal customers through ticket resolution, troubleshooting system and process-related issues.

· Provide best-practice guidance and user enablement across all supported teams.

2. P2P Functional Ownership

· Serve as the primary functional SME for Coupa Procure-to-Pay (P2P).

· Troubleshoot recurring sync issues between Coupa and NetSuite (via MuleSoft)—especially arising from incorrect data entry or mismatched fields.

· Ensure all POs and invoices flow seamlessly through the system; escalate technical items to the integrations team when appropriate.

· Assist in maintaining supplier profiles when required (supplier management familiarity helpful but not core to the role).

3. Business Partnering & Stakeholder Engagement

· Act as the internal customer-facing representative for all Coupa-related questions.

· Conduct training sessions, demos, and support walkthroughs for new users or process updates.

· Build strong relationships with functional stakeholders to understand operational requirements and pain points.

· Gather business requirements for enhancements or process changes and translate them into functional specifications.

4. Product Ownership Support (Future-growth Track)

· Collaborate with management and business owners to execute the product roadmap.

· Maintain the feature and enhancements backlog; ensure timely prioritization aligned with business needs.

· Conduct first-level testing on changes before progressing to UAT.

· Stay informed of Coupa’s latest product releases, system enhancements, and best practices and advise management on potential optimizations.

· Act as liaison between:

o Planet business stakeholders

o Coupa Support / Coupa Compass

o Coupa Account Manager

· Represent the Coupa function in cross-functional conversations where P2P processes intersect with other systems.

Required Qualifications

Technical Skills

· 5–7+ years of relevant experience in Coupa, P2P systems, procurement technology, or similar ERP/S2P tools.

· Strong hands-on background with Coupa P2P module (required).

· Working knowledge of supplier management is considered a plus.

· Familiarity with integrations concepts; ability to troubleshoot issues tied to Coupa–NetSuite–MuleSoft but not expected to perform integration reconfigurations.

· Experience with workflow updates, role-based access, and functional configuration.

· Comfortable conducting functional testing and validating changes.

Soft Skills

· Excellent stakeholder communication and ability to work with business users across various functions.

· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; proactive in proposing solutions rather than waiting for directives.

· Ability to work independently with minimal supervision requires autonomy and strong ownership.

· Strong documentation, training, and user support skills.

Work Schedule & Environment

· Required to follow Pacific Time zone working hours: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM PT.

· Will work closely with cross-functional teams globally.
