Yard AttendantRebuilding North America Starts Here: True to our name, Custom Truck One Source "CTOS" designs, assembles, sells, rents, and services trucks, cranes, and other heavy equipment. Our clients include some of the largest utilities, telecom, construction, forestry, oil, and rail companies in Canada and the United States.Monday - Friday, 8:00am – 4:30pm, overtime as neededValid Driver's LicenseAbility to work in both the shop and in the Yard.Knowledge of commercial trucks or related equipment a plus.The Yard Attendant's primary objective is to assist the shop on making sure CTOS equipment is rental ready, assist with loading and unloading equipment. The position also consists of maintaining the appearance of the branch, assisting mechanics, or other personnel with various labor-based tasks, and completing other daily assignments that support the branch operations.Job Duties:Always maintain a safe work environment; obey safety rules; and wear required safety PPEDetailing inside and outside of trucks (wash bay)Operate a variety of light and heavy-duty trucks on premisesAssist technicians with repair work where additional hands are required.May require occasional travel with field technicians to assist on field repairsCheck in / Check out of rental, sale, used equipmentVarious labor tasks related to maintenance of the building, yard, shop, warehouses, or equipmentRoutine will include sweeping, emptying trash, and other similar tasksPerform any other duties as assignedEducation & Experience:High school diploma or equivalent.Parts and service or related experience required.Proficiency in common computer software (MS Office Suite) and inventory software.Key Traits:Extremely detail oriented and accurate.Mechanical aptitude.Adapting to changing work priorities.Meeting deadlines and schedules.Setting priorities.Mental/Physical Requirements:Positive attitude and strong interpersonal skills.Punctual attendance and willingness to work additional hours as needed.Physical capability for lifting, carrying, and other tasks.Proficiency in communication and problem-solving.Benefits:401(k) with Employer MatchCompetitive Health CareDental, Vision, and Life InsurancePaid Vacation, Sick and HolidaysSTD/ LTDPartner DiscountsInvestment in Employee Development
