Job description
Warehouse YardmanWe are seeking a reliable and hardworking Warehouse Yardman to join our team in Shreveport, LA. The ideal candidate will have experience working in a warehouse or yard setting and be comfortable operating equipment, loading/unloading materials, and maintaining a clean and organized work area.Key Responsibilities:Load and unload trucks, trailers, and containers using forklifts or manual methodsMove, stack, and organize materials within the warehouse and yardAssist with inventory control and conduct regular stock checksMaintain a clean, safe, and organized work environmentInspect materials and equipment for damage or defectsFollow all company safety policies and proceduresSupport warehouse team with general labor and logistics tasks as neededRequirements:High school diploma or GED preferredPrior warehouse or yard experience is a plusAbility to lift up to 50 lbs and work outdoors in varying weather conditionsForklift certification preferred (or willing to obtain)Strong attention to detail and time management skillsMust be dependable, punctual, and able to work independently
