About the Role:
YogaSix Plainview is looking for a passionate and driven General Manager to lead our studio in Plainview, NY. This is an exciting opportunity to combine your love of wellness with your leadership skills to build a thriving community and high-performing team. Responsibilities:
Oversee all day-to-day studio operations, ensuring an exceptional member experience
Lead, hire, train, and develop a motivated front desk and sales team
Drive membership sales growth through community outreach, lead generation, and retention strategies
Manage studio budget, payroll, and key performance metrics to hit revenue goals
Maintain studio cleanliness, safety standards, and brand compliance
Build and nurture a welcoming, inclusive yoga community for members and staff
Coordinate class schedules, instructor relations, and programming in partnership with leadership
Requirements:
2+ years of management experience, preferably in fitness, wellness, or hospitality
Proven track record in membership sales and meeting revenue targets
Strong leadership and team-building skills with a hands-on management style
Excellent communication, customer service, and conflict resolution abilities
Proficiency with studio management software (Mindbody or similar platforms a plus)
Passion for yoga, fitness, and the wellness industry
Ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings and weekends as needed
