Job description
Ritual Hot Yoga is looking for a Yoga Teacher Trainer to lead our 200-hour program.
The program is already built. The curriculum is written, tested and running, which means you are not spending your nights designing modules on your own time. You walk in and do the part you actually trained for: standing in front of a cohort and teaching people how to teach.
Ritual is changing the way yoga is practiced and the way yoga teachers are compensated and valued. That second part matters in this role. Plenty of studios pay a teacher more to lead a training than to teach a class, as though a room full of students were the lesser work. Ritual does not. Teaching is the craft and it is paid like the craft, whether you are leading module three or leading a Friday night class.
The Yoga Teacher Trainer leads the program in the room. You deliver the Ritual curriculum, mentor trainees through practicum and send them out ready to teach a real class to a real room. You help us find the next cohort. And you stay with your graduates after they graduate, as they step onto the schedule and teach their first classes as Ritual teachers. You see the whole arc.
This is a teaching role first. You keep a regular class schedule alongside the training program.
What we are looking for
E-RYT 500 certification with Yoga Alliance, required
At least three years teaching, ideally including hot or heated formats
Experience leading trainings, workshops or continuing education
Comfort with a syllabus, a schedule and a cohort of adult learners
Working knowledge of anatomy, sequencing, cueing and hands-on assists
Excited to teach an established curriculum and teach it exactly right
