Job description
SUMO Medical Staffing is recruiting an experienced Family Nurse Practitioner / Physician Assistant Locum needed in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma (OK). Coverage is needed from December 7, 2026 through March 31, 2027 . The role offers a competitive market rate and Locums benefit.
51601 - Family Medicine / Primary Care (FNP/PA) Locum Role:
Coverage: December 7, 2026-March 31, 2027
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-5:00 PM with one-hour lunch
Setting: Outpatient employer-based health clinic
Patient Population: Ages 2+
Volume: Approximately 2-3 patients/hour
Scope: Primary Care, Acute Care, and some Occupational Medicine/Urgent Care
Dispensing: No onsite medication dispensing
DOT: Not required
DEA: Preferred
Onboarding: Required 2-4 hour shadow shift before first scheduled shift
Requirements of the Family Medicine / Primary Care APP Role:
Family Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant
2-3 years of APP clinical experience preferred
BLS or ACLS
Comfortable treating patients ages 2+
Primary Care / Acute Care experience
Must provide an available date for the required shadow shift
CV (MM/YYYY, 30+ day gaps explained - work and education)
