Youth Care ProviderOur Mission: We unite for Idaho's youth by offering accessible programs and services that nurture hope, healing, and resilience.How will you impact our mission? Successful candidates will have a once-in-a-career opportunity to be a part of our new Residential Center for Healing and Resilience, a 64-bed psychiatric residential treatment facility (PRTF) for youth at our beautiful 258-acre Hands of Promise Campus in Idaho's Treasure Valley.The Youth Care Provider gives direct supervision of daily living and individualized learning plans of the youth in our care.Our Youth Care Providers:Provide care and supervision to youth residentsHelp with youth orientationGuide and support youth in carrying out daily activities such as morning routines, chores, homework, meal times, group activities and evening routinesImplement behavior support techniquesProvide a consistent, safe and supportive environment to help youth manage behavioral and emotional responsesBuilds positive relationships with youth by providing a consistent, supportive presence and engaging youth in ways that demonstrate respect, care and belief in their potentialMust Haves:Must be 21 years of ageMust possess High School diploma or equivalentMust have a valid Idaho driver's license or obtain one within 15 days of hirePreferred:Bachelor's degree in related fieldSome experience working directly with youthSome experience working in a clinical setting providing direct client careSome experience working in a youth residential settingThis position would work 3/12s hour shifts from 9 - 9 on Thursday - Saturday with rotating Wednesdays. For any hours worked between 11pm - 7am, this would have a $1.25 shift differential added to base wage.In addition to contributing to our awesome mission, working at IYR has many advantages!
