Job Title: Part-Time Youth Care Worker
nPosition Overview:
nWe are seeking compassionate and dedicated individuals to join our team as Part-Time Youth Care Workers. In this role, you will provide support, care, and a safe environment for young individuals in our care. Your primary responsibilities include supervising the daily activities of youth, assisting in the development of life skills, and fostering a positive, nurturing atmosphere.
nKey Responsibilities:
n- Supervise and engage with youth in various programs and activities, ensuring their safety and well-being.
n- Mentor and support youth in developing positive behaviors, social skills, and personal development.
n- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to implement individualized care plans and interventions.
n- Assist in the planning and facilitation of educational, recreational, and therapeutic activities.
n- Maintain accurate records and documentation of youth interactions, behaviors, and progress.
n- Provide crisis intervention and conflict resolution when necessary.
n- Uphold organizational policies and procedures to maintain a structured and positive environment.
n- Foster an inclusive and respectful atmosphere that promotes diversity and understanding.
nQualifications:
n- High school diploma or equivalent; additional education in social work, psychology, or a related field is a plus.
n- Previous experience working with youth in a residential, educational, or recreational setting is preferred.
n- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to connect with diverse youth populations.
n- Demonstrated ability to handle challenging situations with patience, empathy, and professionalism.
n- Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, to meet the needs of the program.
