Rite of Passage Team is hiring Youth Care Workers at Norris Academy in Andersonville, TN.Are you ready to make an impact from day one? Nestled just outside the Great Smoky Mountains, around 30 miles North of Knoxville, in a small, quaint, beautiful town, called Andersonville, sits Norris Academy, a residential treatment facility that offers comprehensive, holistic services to youth with autism spectrum disorders, and/or other neurodevelopmental diagnosis.Compensation Range: $17 per hour. As a youth care worker at Norris Academy, you are helping to care for and support autistic youth. This is a 100% onsite position. Duties include but are not limited to:Assist residents with personal care tasksSupport independent living skills and treatment goalsEnsure residents safety at all timesEnforce facility rules, policies, and routinesTo be considered you should:Be at least 21 years of ageHave a High School diploma or equivalentBe able to pass a background screening, drug test, and physicalHave at least 1 year experience working with autistic youthHave a passion to work with and help childrenSchedule/hours/shifts: Part Time As Needed. 12/hr shifts 7am - 7:30pm or 7pm - 7:30amApply today and Make a Difference in the Lives of Youth!
