Job Description
Responsible for installing, customizing and maintaining all software that run in the CICS environment. Position also includes on-call support responsibilities as well as providing technical support to end-user community.
Qualifications
Skills Required:
Strong knowledge of CICS, CICSplex and SMP/E
Experience working with: Cobol, VSAM, JCL, CA-Top Secret / RACF, CA-Intertest, IPCS, CICS Performance Analyzer, SAS, IBM Utilities, DB2, diagnostic tools such as Omegamon/CICS and Mainview for CICS
Experience with coding and supporting CICS exits and replaceable modules
Proficiency in the maintenance of IBM CICS software
Skilled at troubleshooting problems in a CICS environment.
Working knowledge of CICS Web Services and CICS Transaction Gateway, Natural, Adabas and Assembler
Weekend work and on-call rotation required
Self-motivated individual and a team player
Good verbal and written English communications skills
10 years of relevant experience
Candidates with less experience but demonstrate strong growth potential will also be considered
