About the Role:
nJoin Wales in the Bronx as a part-time Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant specializing in adult medicine. We are seeking a passionate Spanish-speaking professional to provide exceptional care to our diverse community, enhancing access to quality healthcare.
nResponsibilities:
nConduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations of adult patients.
nDevelop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient needs.
nPerform routine physical examinations and health screenings.
nManage chronic conditions and provide patient education on health maintenance.
nCollaborate with healthcare team members to ensure coordinated care.
nDocument patient encounters accurately in electronic health records.
nProvide culturally competent care to Spanish-speaking patients.
nParticipate in community outreach and health promotion activities.
nRequirements:
nCurrent NP or PA license in New York State.
nExperience in adult medicine or primary care preferred.
nFluency in Spanish is required for effective communication.
nStrong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills.
nExcellent interpersonal and communication abilities.
nAbility to work independently and as part of a team.
nCommitment to providing high-quality, patient-centered care.
nFlexible schedule with availability for part-time hours.
