Job description
Extrusion Technician CEnsure continuous operation of production lines to manufacture products that meet specifications, prioritizing safety and efficiency.Qualifications:A High School Diploma or equivalentLegal eligibility to work in the USAbility to speak, read, and write in English1 to 3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, with all levels of personnelBasic math skills and some mechanical abilitiesDemonstrate ambition by suggesting improvements and exhibit flexibility in accepting additional duties as assigned.Ensure consistent, dependable attendance and demonstrate a willingness to accommodate non-standard work hours as necessary such as overtime, weekends, and travel.Capable of effectively managing job-related stress and fostering productive workplace interactions.Capable of lifting, pulling, and pushing up to 50 pounds of various sizes and shapes.Capable of standing and walking for extended periods of time and climbing ladders or other equipment for cleaning.Job Responsibilities:Understand and comply with plant policies, procedures, and safety protocols.Conduct safety and quality inspections, report hazards, and actively participate in safety meetings.Ensure availability of all required materials for manufacturing and packaging the specific product.Troubleshoot and maintain the machine, as well as load and replace raw materials as needed within it.Maintain cleanliness of the machine and its surroundings, while also ensuring equipment and materials are neat and orderly.Perform and document quality and processing audits regularly to ensure compliance with production and quality standards.Relieve operators for breaks as needed.Inteplast Group is an Affirmative Action and Equal Opportunity Employer.
