nOverview:
nWe are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting principles, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple financial tasks with precision. This position will be responsible for ensuring accurate financial records, preparing financial statements, managing accounts payable and receivable, and summit payroll taxes.
nKey Responsibilities:
nnPrepare and maintain accurate financial statements, reports, and records, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
nOversee accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, ensuring timely and accurate processing of transactions.
nFraud Alerts
nReconcile bank statements and other financial accounts to ensure accuracy and resolve discrepancies.
nAssist with the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports and budgets.
nEnsure compliance with accounting principles, company policies, and regulatory requirements.
nAnalyze financial data and provide insights on financial performance, trends, and forecasts to VP of Sales.
nCoordinate with external auditors for year-end audits and assist in the preparation of necessary documents.
nProcess payroll and ensure accuracy in payroll-related tax filings and deductions.
nMonitor financial transactions and ensure timely payment of invoices and collections.
nMaintain accurate and up-to-date records of fixed assets and inventory.
nAssist in the preparation of tax returns and ensure timely submission of all tax-related documents.
nOther duties as assigned.
n nQualifications:
nnBachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA or equivalent certification preferred).
nMinimum of 2-3 years of accounting experience, with a solid understanding of accounting principles and practices.
nProficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, SAP) and MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
nStrong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
nExcellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
nStrong written and verbal communication skills.
nKnowledge of tax laws, regulations, and compliance requirements.
nAbility to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
n nPreferred Qualifications:
nnExperience with payroll processing and tax filings.
nKnowledge of financial analysis and forecasting techniques.
nExperience in preparing financial statements for management review.
