Accountant
Location: Woburn, MA
Salary: $80,000 ～ (DOE)
Schedule: Monday - Friday, 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM (On-site)

Overview
A Japanese company is seeking an Accountant to join a stable Japanese company in Woburn, MA. This position is ideal for someone with a solid understanding of general accounting who is looking to grow their career in a collaborative environment.
Responsibilities
Perform day-to-day accounting and bookkeeping tasks
Process accounts payable and accounts receivable
Prepare journal entries and reconcile accounts
Assist with monthly closing activities and financial reporting
Maintain accurate accounting records and documentation
Collaborate with internal teams and support administrative operations
Participate in a weekly meeting with the Japan headquarters
Qualifications 3-5 years of experience working for a Japanese company
General understanding of accounting principles and practices
Familiarity with accounting operations and financial recordkeeping
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to work independently in an on-site office environment
Ability to communicate effectively with colleagues in Japan during weekly meetings
Japanese language skills are a strong plus
Understanding of Japanese business culture is highly preferred
