Accounting Specialist Or BookkeeperOur client is seeking an experienced Accounting Specialist to join their accounting team. This position is ideal for a detail-oriented accounting professional who enjoys working across multiple areas of accounting and is comfortable taking ownership of day-to-day accounting responsibilities.ResponsibilitiesHandle full cycle Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) processesPrepare and post journal entriesPerform monthly and ongoing account reconciliationsAssist with month-end and year-end closing activitiesResearch and resolve accounting discrepanciesAssist with account analysisReview transactions for accuracy and proper codingMaintain accurate and organized accounting recordsAssist with general ledger activities and account maintenancePrepare various accounting reports and schedulesSupport the accounting team with special projects and other duties as needed
