Accounts Payable ClerkLocation: Hendersonville, NC 28792 Pay Rate: $19.00 +/hour DOE Schedule: Monday–Friday | 8:00 AM–5:00 PMFriday Workforce is seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Clerk to support our client in Hendersonville. This opportunity is ideal for someone who enjoys working with numbers, maintaining accurate financial records, and ensuring invoices and payments are processed efficiently.If you're organized, dependable, and thrive in an accounting environment, we'd love to hear from you!ResponsibilitiesAccounts PayableProcess accounts payable invoices accurately and in a timely mannerReview, code, and enter invoices into the accounting systemReconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepanciesProcess payments, including checks and ACH transactionsManage scheduled payments and ensure bills are paid on timeReview expense reports and company credit card statementsMaintain organized and accurate accounts payable recordsOffice & Accounting SupportCommunicate with vendors regarding invoices, payments, and account questionsEnter and maintain financial information within accounting systemsOrganize accounting documentation and recordsAssist with general accounting and administrative tasks as neededSupport the accounting team with additional projects and daily operationsQualificationsPrevious accounts payable or accounting experience preferredStrong attention to detail and accuracyExcellent organizational and time-management skillsComfortable working with invoices, financial records, and numbersStrong communication and problem-solving abilitiesAbility to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlinesAbility to work independently and as part of a teamPositive attitude and strong work ethic
