Accounts Payable / Payroll SpecialistPrideStaff Financial is working with a local manufacturing company who is seeking an Accounts Payable & Payroll Specialist. The Accounts Payable & Payroll Specialist is responsible for ensuring the accurate, timely, and compliant execution of all payroll and accounts payable functions. The ideal Accounts Payable & Payroll Specialist brings exceptional analytical capabilities and accurate attention to detail, alongside the professionalism required to manage sensitive financial information with total confidentiality. The Accounts Payable & Payroll Specialist position reports directly to the Accounting Manager.Accounts Payable & Payroll Specialist Duties & Responsibilities:Process Multi-State Weekly/Bi-Weekly Payroll For Hourly, Salaried, & Contracted StaffValidate Timekeeping Data, Including Hours Worked, Overtime, PTO, & Wage AdjustmentsMaintain Employee Records Ensuring Full Compliance With Federal, State, & Local RegulationsManage Payroll Lifecycle Changes, Covering New Hires, Terminations, Compensation Adjustments, & BenefitsReconcile Payroll Reports, For Month/Quarter/Year-End Closing, W-2 Prep, & Internal AuditsResolve Employee Payroll Inquiries With Timely & Professional SupportCode & Process Vendor Invoices in Compliance With Company Policies3-Way Invoice Matching. Purchase Orders, Receipts, & InvoicesManage Weekly Payment Runs Via Check, ACH, & Wire TransfersMaintain Vendor Records & Secure Required W-9 DocumentationReconcile Accounts Payables to the General LedgerAssist With Closing Activities, Including AP Accruals & ReportingAssist With Additional Business Needs as RequestedAccounts Payable & Payroll Specialist Requirements & Qualifications:High School Diploma or Equivalent Required3+ Years of Multi-State Payroll Experience Coupled With Solid Wage & Hour Laws, & Compliance Requirements3+ Years of Accounts Payable ExperienceProficient With Payroll Systems Such as ADP, Paychex, Paylocity, UKG, & Accounting Software Such as JobBOSSSuperb Excel Skills, Including Formulas, VLOOKUP, & Pivot TablesExceptional Accuracy, Organizational Skills, & Attention to DetailsStrong Communication Skills & The Ability to Collaborate Effectively Across DepartmentsDemonstrated Ability to Handle Confidential Information With DiscretionMaintain a High Level of Integrity & a Proactive, Resourceful Approach Committed to Continuous ImprovementApply Strong Analytical & Problem-Solving Skills to Manage Multiple Priorities & Meet Tight Deadlines in a Fast-Paced EnvironmentWork With a Team-Oriented Mindset Focused on Delivering a Strong Customer Service ExperiencePrevious Experience Supporting Payroll & AP in a Multi-Entity or High Volume EnvironmentFamiliarity With 1099 Processing & Year-End AP ReportingExposure to General Ledger Processes or Basic Accounting PrinciplesPrideStaff Hiring Requirements:Must be 18+ Years OldMust be Willing to Submit to a Pre-Employment Background CheckMust be Willing to Submit to a Drug ScreenMust be Able to Provide Proof of Eligibility to Work in The U.S.Enhance your career with a full-time job, with a great company, competitive wages, and let PrideStaff Financial support you in your future employment endeavors.
