Job description
Administrative Medical Assistant (AMA)Provide essential support in primary health care and patient management through administrative duties tailored to the practice's needs.Exhibit strong computer proficiency.Maintain courteous telephone communication with patients, visitors, and colleagues.Operate all front office equipment efficiently.Manage medical records in compliance with policies and procedures.Handle patient check-in and check-out processes with accuracy.Collect patient payments and prepare deposits correctly.Uphold strict confidentiality of patient information.Perform additional duties as assigned.High school diploma or equivalent.Minimum of one year experience in a medical office environment.Familiarity with medical terminology.Proficient in word processing and computer applications.First shift, full-time (40 hours per week).This position is located in a regional healthcare setting within the Midwest United States.
