Ag Loan Officer
Angott Search Group is pleased to partner with a $250 million North Dakota community bank in their search for an Ag Loan Officer.
The selected candidate will spearhead customer relationship building and advocacy through proactive business development, adept relationship management, and meticulous analysis of loan and deposit portfolios. They will cultivate trusted-advisor relationships with customers and enhance value by guiding them towards internal partners for deposits, insurance, wealth management, and residential mortgage services. Responsibilities include monitoring financial performance, ensuring accurate risk coding, addressing outstanding tasks, and overseeing the solicitation, negotiation, underwriting, and coordination of loan closings in alignment with the Bank's lending policies and procedures. This role operates with considerable autonomy in credit decision-making.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in finance, agriculture, business administration, or a related field.
A minimum of 5 years of experience in agricultural lending or a related financial services role.
Robust comprehension of agricultural operations, production cycles, and financial management principles.
Demonstrated success in building and sustaining client relationships within the agricultural community.
Proficiency in credit analysis, risk assessment, and loan structuring techniques.
Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and negotiation abilities.
Capacity to work independently, prioritize tasks effectively, and meet deadlines within a dynamic environment.
