AMA-Certified Medical Assistant | Clinical SupportJoin a compassionate healthcare team dedicated to delivering exceptional patient care in a clinical setting. This role involves assisting with patient management and supporting healthcare providers to ensure smooth and effective clinical operations.Essential Responsibilities:Provide direct and delegated patient care, recognizing normal and abnormal health indicators to identify at-risk patients. Deliver care aligned with established standards and guidelines.Respond promptly to telephone inquiries, triaging calls appropriately while offering reassurance, clear instructions, and education to patients.Facilitate efficient healthcare delivery during patient visits by preparing patients for examinations, obtaining vital signs and medical histories, and documenting findings accurately in electronic medical records.Observe and communicate abnormal patient signs to physicians, ensuring thorough documentation and patient understanding of discharge instructions.Assist physicians with testing, treatments, minor surgeries, and physical exams, including applying splints and dressings, managing sample medications, and coordinating referrals and patient testing.Perform laboratory tests and maintain lab logs as prescribed, while ensuring all patient care areas and equipment are well-stocked, clean, sterile, and organized according to protocols.Support patient education efforts by distributing materials and confirming patient comprehension of treatment plans and medication usage.Carry out additional duties as assigned to support clinical operations.Education and Experience Required:Graduation from an accredited Medical Assistant or Nursing Program.Work Shift: Day ShiftLocation: Serving patients in a regional healthcare setting within the Midwest United States.
