UnityPoint Health - Sioux City provides coordinated clinic, hospital and home-based care for patients in Sioux City and the surrounding Siouxland area. UnityPoint Health - Sioux City offers a full range of services and programs that includes a state-of-the-art surgical center, 24/7 cardiovascular care, and Level III emergency department. In addition, UnityPoint Health - Sioux City is also home to St. Luke’s College which provides high-quality, health system-based education to individuals looking for careers in health care.
Established practice serving the Sioux City community
Cohesive group of colleagues and supportive staff allowing for autonomy while building the practice according to your preferences
Experienced staff, both clinical and non-clinical, who know the patients and the community
At home and in house call required (next day off after in house call)
Opportunity to pick up additional call for extra compensation
Fully integrated health system with clinics and hospitals utilizing Epic EMR to streamline workflows and improve care coordination
Responsibilities
Blended team of Anesthesia physicians and CRNA
Diverse Case mix including neurosurgery, vasccular, general surgery, OB/GYN and Urology
Two loations and credentialing at both sites-UPH St. Lukes downtown and UPH
Downtown location-Vascular hybrid room, Cardiac and trauma
North Mercy -OB and Pediatric patients.
CRNA's onsite 24/7 and
Robtics availbae at both sites
Patient-focused, friendly and willing to collaborate in a team environment
Ability to work as a team member to improve the health of the people and communities we serve
Excellent communication (written and verbal), analytical, and problem-solving skills
Qualifications
Graduate of an Accredited School of Anesthesia for Nurses
Board eligible or board certified
Complies with criteria for recertification
Hold an unrestricted medical license in the state of Iowa
Hold current and unrestricted state and federal authority to prescribe and administer medications as necessary or appropriate to the Advanced Practitioners field of practice
BLS, ACLS, PALS required
Eligible to work in the United States
