nWe are seeking a professional ARMED Security Guard to join our team. In this role, your primary responsibility will be to create a safe and secure environment. You will protect our premises, assets, and employees and prevent any illegal or inappropriate occurrences. The ideal candidate has experience with public safety and security and operates with a high degree of integrity at all times.
nAs a Flex Part-Time Security Officer, you have the flexibility to build a schedule that works for you by picking up available shifts and gaining experience at a variety of sites as opportunities arise.
nResponsibilities
nPatrol the premises and maintain a high level of visibility
nMonitor entrances and exits to ensure only authorized personnel access the facility
nRemove trespassers when necessary
nMonitor surveillance cameras
nRespond to reports of suspicious activity
nReport on daily activities and any security incidents
nQualifications
nPrevious experience as an ARMED Security Guard or in a similar position is preferred
nHigh school diploma/GED
nStrong understanding of public safety and security procedures
nExcellent written communication skills and report writing ability
nAbility to operate surveillance equipment
nHigh level of integrity and professionalism
nAttention to detail and strong observational skills
nAbility to work without direct supervision
nWear and Carry Permit
nValid Maryland Armed Guard Card
