nAs a Security Officer – Tactical, physical ability is essential as you will be moving around your entire shift, patrolling environments such as retail stores, airports, detention centers, etc.

nnSet schedule: Full-time 3:00PM - 11:00PM, Monday - Friday

nnCompetitive hourly wage of $34.00/Hour (DailyPay is available for GardaWorld employees!)

n nResponsibilities of Tactical Security Guard

nnnPhysical fitness assessment and shooting qualification

n

nnPatrol sensitive areas to spot any suspicious activity

n

nnVerify identities and control access to secure areas

n

nnReact quickly to threats or incidents

n

nnCheck the proper functioning of alarms and cameras

n

nnDocument incidents and actions taken

n

nnRespond to alarms and conduct on-site checks

n

nnCollaborate with law enforcement during serious incidents

n

nnEnsure the safety and protection of individuals and property

n

n nMinimum Requirements

nnnPrior tactical firearms experience and prior advanced training in emergency medicine preferred.

n

nnMiniumm 3 years federal, state, local law enforcement or military police experience.

n

nnMust possess advanced skills and professional experience in the areas of people and conflict management with tact and discretion and through the utilization of de-escalation techniques.

n

nnMust possess the ability to function in stressful situations while exercising good judgement.

n

nnDemonstrate strong customer service skills, including the ability to communicate effectively with the public while maintaining poise and self-control under stress.

n

nnMust possess, or be able to obtain, weapon training qualification certification for the type of weapon required at the post to which the applicant is being considered for placement.

n

nnMust be at least 21 years of age.

n

nnParticipate in industry specific security/safety training programs.

n

nnLicensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

n

n nQualifications of Tactical Security Guard

nnnBe authorized to work in the U.S.

n

nnBe able to provide documentation of High School Diploma or GED

n

nnBe able to ace (and pass) an extensive screening process

n

nnFirst aid certification is an asset

n

nnAbility to stand and walk for the entire shift

n

nnIf you have Security, Military, Law Enforcement experience – even better!

n

nnYou have a state license if required
