As an Armed Security Officer in a manufacturing and industrial location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support access control and site operations. You will provide exceptional customer service and clear communication while responding to situations with professionalism. Join Allied Universal's agile, reliable, and innovative team, where a caring culture, teamwork, and integrity guide every shift.Position Type: Part TimePay Rate: $26.00 / HourJob Schedule:Day TimeMon 12:45 PM - 04:45 PMTue 12:45 PM - 04:45 PMWed 12:45 PM - 04:45 PMThur 12:45 PM - 04:45 PMFri 12:45 PM - 04:45 PMWhat You'll Do:Provide customer service by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and/or emergency response activities at a manufacturing and industrial location.Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established post orders and escalation protocols.Conduct regular and random armed patrols of the facility, production areas, parking areas, access points, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.Monitor access to restricted areas, verify credentials as assigned, and document visitor, vehicle, and contractor activity.Maintain required reports and logs, communicate observations to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership, and handle assigned equipment in accordance with post orders and applicable requirements.Minimum Requirements:Possess an Armed Guard Card/License.Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.Participate in industry-specific security training programs.Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.Why Join Us:Smart Tools: Access to our exclusive technology to view and claim additional shifts to earn more.Career Growth: Get paid training and access to career growth opportunities.Financial Benefits: Participate in our retirement savings plan to invest in your future.Exclusive Perks: Enjoy discounts on top brands and services through our Perks Program.Allied Universal® is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
