Armed Security OfficerExcelsior Defense, Inc. is actively hiring professional Armed Security Officers for immediate deployment across the Tampa Bay area. These positions support active contracts with immediate staffing needs, and we are prioritizing candidates who can start quickly and operate independently.We are a Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned security firm with over 25 years of experience supporting commercial, residential, and government clients. If you're looking for a stable post with a company that runs disciplined operations-this is it.Compensation$20.00 – $22.00 per hour (based on experience and assignment)Full-time and part-time shifts availableOpportunities for additional hours based on performanceMinimum RequirementsActive Florida Class D and Class G licensesMinimum 1 year of armed security, military, or law enforcement experienceReliable transportation and ability to report to assigned post on timeAbility to pass background screening and drug testStrong report writing and communication skillsWhat We're Looking ForOfficers who can hold a post professionally without constant supervisionStrong situational awareness and decision-making under pressureClean, professional appearance and command presenceAbility to interact with clients, residents, and the public confidentlyCore ResponsibilitiesMaintain strict access control and monitor all entry/exit activityConduct foot patrol of assigned propertyDeter criminal activity and respond to incidents in a controlled, professional mannerComplete detailed Daily Activity Reports (DARs) and incident reportsServe as a visible security presence to support client operationsPriority Consideration Given To:Prior military or law enforcement experienceOfficers with high-end residential, corporate, or access control experienceCandidates available for immediate startThis is not a sit-down, low-effort post.
