You're joining a global team with opportunities to learn, grow, and make a difference.Job DetailsWe are seeking a highly skilled Armed Security Officer to protect client assets, ensure the safety of personnel, and maintain a secure environment at designated locations. This position requires vigilance, sound judgment under pressure, and strict adherence to all security protocols and regulations.This role is considered safety-sensitive due to responsibilities involving public interaction, emergency response, and the authorized handling of firearms. Candidates must demonstrate professionalism, composure, and the ability to make responsible decisions in high-stress situations.Key Responsibilities:Supervise a team of Armed Security Officers on designated shift.Oversee day to day site operations. (i.e. reviewing daily reports)Performance managementResponsible for training, coaching, and counseling of staff.Maintain a strong visible presence among visitors, patrons, and employees to enforce order and protect property.Conduct patrols and surveillance of industrial or commercial premises to prevent safety hazards, theft, violence, or infractions of rules.Enforce rules, regulations, policies, and procedures, promptly responding to emergency situations and providing security assistance as required.Prepare detailed narrative reports and oversee the maintenance of daily activity reports (DARs).Monitor and report irregular or unusual activity, implementing appropriate measures to address any identified risks.Conduct thorough investigations of incidents and prepare comprehensive reports.Qualifications and Requirements:Must be at least 21 years old2 years of Security Supervisor experienceExperience: Prior experience in Military Police, law enforcement, corrections, or comparable armed security role requiredLicensing: Valid Massachusetts License to Carry (LTC)Proficient computer skills are required (Microsoft Word, Excel)Open availability to work all shifts and schedules.Legal authorization to carry and operate a firearm in accordance with applicable regulationsTraining: Certification in arrest control, restraint techniques, or equivalent defensive tacticsRegulatory Compliance: Understanding of applicable federal, state, and local security and firearm regulationsSchedule Flexibility: Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidaysHourly Wage: $38 plus $5.92 H&WFor this position, there will be an additional compensation at the rate of $5.92/hr up to 40 hours worked per week as a supplement for Health and Welfare.Post-Offer Employment RequirementsEmployment offers for this position are contingent upon successful completion of all post-offer requirements applicable to this safety-sensitive role.
