Duties
You will assist the Airfield Manager in articulating and communicating to the division airfield operations support requirements, deadlines and timeframes for completion of various activities.
You will conduct daily airfield inspections and checks, including checking lighting, pavement condition, and other elements of the facility, and report problems to Public Works for resolution.
You will perform various administrative and managerial tasks, including preparing the department budget and spending/phasing plans, compiling and reporting airfield performance metrics, and preparing department briefs, data or reports.
You will serve as the point of contact (POC) to contractors requiring access to the airfield and to ensure operational impact of construction and special projects at the airfield(s) is minimal.
