Assistant Plant Manager | Food Manufacturing

We're seeking an experienced Assistant Plant Manager to help lead daily manufacturing operations in a fast-paced food production environment. This role partners with the Plant Manager to drive safety, operational excellence, continuous improvement, and team performance.
Key Responsibilities:
Champion a safety-first culture and food safety compliance
Lead production through KPI performance (Safety, Quality, OEE, Productivity, Cost)
Drive Lean initiatives and continuous improvement
Improve equipment reliability, reduce waste, and optimize operations
Develop, coach, and engage production teams
Support new product launches and cross-functional initiatives
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Food Science, or related field
5+ years of manufacturing leadership experience (food manufacturing preferred)
Strong Lean/Continuous Improvement and operational leadership experience

Spanish language skills are a plus
