The Department of Neurology at the University of Rochester School of Medicine & Dentistry is seeking a faculty member at the rank of Assistant Professor or Assistant Professor of Clinical Neurology with a primary focus in neuropalliative care across a broad range of neurological conditions, including movement disorders . The successful candidate will provide compassionate, patient-centered care, contribute to the education of trainees, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to advance clinical and academic initiatives in neuropalliative care.
Overview: The University of Rochester Medical Center is a national leader in Neurology and neuropalliative care. We are seeking an outstanding candidate to assist us in our neuropalliative care service, including clinical care, education, and program development. There are also opportunities for involvement in quality improvement and research. Applicants with an interest in general neurology, movement disorders or other subspecialities is welcome.
Responsibilities:
Provide inpatient and outpatient expert care for patients with general neurologic disorders with a focus on neuropalliative care and movement disorders. Participate in the education missions of the Department of Neurology.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will be a dynamic and outstanding BC/BE, trained physician, with a career interest in general neurology and neuropalliative career.

The referenced pay range represents the University's good faith and reasonable estimate of the base range of compensation for this faculty position. Individual salaries will be determined within the job's salary range and established based on (but not limited to) market data, experience and expertise of the individual, and with consideration to related position salaries. Alignment of clinical incentive-based compensation may also be applicable and will be discussed during the hiring process.
