Page Lumber, a three-location leader in the Building Material and Lumber Industry in Dutchess County for over 100 years, is looking for an experienced Retail Assistant Store Manager for our Pawling location. The Assistant Store Managers is responsible for the daily operation of stone yard/stock/receiving activities and in driving sales and assisting customers. Will be responsible for assisting the Store Manager in the day to day operations and financial success of retail floor sales. The Assistant Store Manager will also be responsible for the overall management and operation of the store in the absence of the store Manager.
The right candidate will have experience and knowledge of building materials, lumber and millwork.

Requirements:
Prior experience in related retail sales/customer service, lumber/hardware industry.
Knowledge of building materials, lumber, millwork and/ or hardware required.
Knowledge of paint, plumbing, electrical and/or tools.
Strong appreciation for customer service and home improvement.
Inventory management.
Promotes sales by demonstrating merchandise and products to customers.
Strong analytical, communication and time management skills.
Ability to assist Store Manager in coaching, training and developing a successful team.
Must be able to work a flexible work schedule, including weekends.
