Assistant Controller
Ball Ground, GA (Fully onsite)
Salary Range: $125,000 - $140,000 + 10% bonus

Key Responsibilities
Lead the month-end close process and ensure timely, accurate financial reporting.
As the Assistant Controller, oversee journal entries, accruals, revenue recognition, fixed asset accounting, and balance sheet reconciliations.
Support audit activities by coordinating documentation, preparing schedules, and responding to auditor requests.
Partner with accounts payable and accounts receivable teams to ensure accurate transaction processing and timely resolution of issues.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives as the Assistant Controller to streamline accounting processes and strengthen internal controls.
Assist with tax compliance, reporting requirements, and other strategic accounting initiatives.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
5+ years of progressive accounting experience.
Manufacturing accounting experience required.
Previous experience as an Assistant Controller, Accounting Manager, Senior Accountant, or similar accounting leadership role preferred.
Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP, financial reporting, and internal controls.
Experience working with ERP systems required.
Advanced Microsoft Excel skills required; Power BI experience preferred.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively across departments.
