Job description

State Road Animal Hospital: Associate Veterinarian

Looking for a place where you can practice great medicine and truly feel at home? State Road Animal Hospital has been a trusted part of Alma, Michigan for over 60 years, serving generations of families and their pets in a close-knit Mid-Michigan community.

Practice Highlights

You will practice alongside Dr. Genevieve Hoffman (Michigan State University), backed by a highly efficient team of two licensed veterinary technicians and eight additional support staff, including Fear Free and cat certified team members who make visits easier on patients and on you.

Our modern hospital features advanced diagnostics, including dental radiographs, endoscopy, and laser therapy, so you can offer clients answers and treatment options without referring everything out.

We are an upbeat, family‑like practice with a team‑first culture. Collaboration and mentorship are part of the daily routine here, and we take pride in being a place where people love to work.

Why Alma?

Alma is an upbeat college town that offers small‑town charm with big advantages: affordable housing, minimal commutes, and easy access to lakes, trails, and outdoor recreation, with major cities close by when you want them.
