Irmo Vet is a privately owned veterinary clinic led by Practice Manager, Misty Johnson and located in the heart of Irmo, South Carolina. About the Position

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Associate Veterinarian (DVM) to join our growing team. The ideal candidate is committed to providing exceptional medical care, building lasting client relationships, and collaborating with a supportive veterinary team.

In this role, you will perform examinations, diagnose and treat medical conditions, develop treatment plans, educate pet owners, and help ensure the highest standard of patient care. We value veterinarians who enjoy practicing high-quality medicine while maintaining a personalized approach to patient and client care.

Responsibilities

Perform comprehensive physical examinations and develop treatment plans

Diagnose and treat medical conditions in companion animals

Perform routine soft-tissue surgeries and dental procedures

Communicate effectively with clients regarding diagnostics, treatment options, and preventive care

Maintain accurate and thorough medical records

Lead and work alongside a team of up to three veterinary assistants to provide exceptional patient care

Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree from an accredited college of veterinary medicine
