Job description
Step into a contract opportunity as an Audiologist supporting students in a welcoming school environment near Vacaville, CA. What helps you succeed in this role:
Valid and current Audiologist license in California
Previous experience providing audiological services within school settings preferred
Ability to conduct comprehensive hearing evaluations and troubleshoot technology (such as FM systems, hearing aids, and other assistive devices)
Skilled in IEP development, progress documentation, and participation in multidisciplinary teams
Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with educators, students, and families
Detail-oriented and proficient in digital case management
What you'll do: Perform hearing screenings and diagnostic evaluations for students
Recommend and implement auditory equipment and accommodations
Develop and monitor Individualized Education Program (IEP) audiology goals
Collaborate with teachers, speech-language pathologists, support staff, and families
Educate staff and students on hearing loss prevention and effective communication strategies
Maintain thorough documentation in accordance with school and district policies
Travel between sites as needed to support student needs across programs
