Job DescriptionJob DescriptionAn Auto Mechanic plays a vital role in maintaining vehicle performance and safety as part of a service team. This position involves performing routine maintenance tasks, handling complex mechanical diagnostics, and ensuring customer vehicles are repaired efficiently. The mechanic uses a variety of manufacturer-specific and general automotive diagnostic tools to diagnose and fix issues, with occasional interaction with customers to clarify service needs and provide updates.
Responsibilities
Perform vehicle diagnostics using manufacturer-specific and general automotive tools
Conduct brake maintenance and repairs
Troubleshoot and repair electrical systems
Provide occasional customer service and communication
Replace parts as needed to ensure vehicle functionality
Complete preventive maintenance tasks
Utilize automotive tools safely and efficiently
Maintain accurate service and repair records
Preferred Qualifications
2+ years of experience in automotive repair
Technical diploma in automotive technology
Valid driver's license
Proficiency in automotive diagnostics, brake systems, and electrical systems
Strong customer service and problem-solving skills
Effective time management and team collaboration abilities
