AAMCO Transmission & Total Car Care in St Matthews is currently seeking an Automotive Technician to become an integral part of our leadership team!

nnHere is what we're looking for.
nnMotivated hands-on technician with a instinct for problem solving
nHigh energy and enthusiastic, passionate about cars
nCommitment to quality and attention to detail
nStrong communication skills both with customers and your team
nASE certification or willingness to obtain it (We can help you get there!)
nDiagnostic skills
nComputer Reflashing experience
nEngine repair experience
nTransmission diagnostics, removal & installation is a plus!
nPerforms a full range of skilled automotive repair work, such as minor tune-ups, suspension repair, electrical system servicing, engine repair, transmission service & repairs.
nKnowledge of diagnostic and repair equipment
nAbility to prioritize, execute, and deliver vehicle repairs in a timely manner
n nTransmission rebuilding experience is not necessary, however is a plus!

nnDaily Tasks:
nnDiagnose and repair automotive vehicles
nPerform routine vehicle tune-ups and maintenance
nProvide labor and time estimates for automotive repairs
nInspect and test vehicles for necessary adjustments
nHelp with parts ordering, pricing & returns

nRequirements:
nnSome Automotive repair experience
nMust have own tools
nExperience using store equipment such as lifts, scanners, transmission flushers, jacks, etc. proficiently
nAvailability to work a 5 day work schedule with no evenings, Saturdays, Sundays
nAt least 18 years of
nValid drivers license
nMust have high school diploma/GED
nAbility to lift up to 50 pounds
