In addition to preparing specialty coffee beverages, this role is responsible for preparing and serving breakfast cocktails, including Mimosas and Bloody Marys, in accordance with responsible alcohol service standards and applicable liquor laws. The Barista ensures each guest receives an elevated café and breakfast experience by maintaining a clean, organized workspace, supporting efficient breakfast operations, and collaborating closely with team members to uphold exceptional hospitality. This position reports to the Restaurant Manager.

Prepare and serve specialty espresso and coffee beverages according to established recipes and quality standards
• Prepare and serve breakfast cocktails, including Mimosas and Bloody Marys, in accordance with established recipes, responsible alcohol service practices, and applicable liquor laws
• Verify guest age and identification when required and comply with all alcohol service regulations and company policies
• Maintain the proper care and cleanliness of espresso equipment, bar tools, and beverage service areas
• Clean and restock station throughout shift
• Monitor inventory of coffee, beverage, and bar supplies and communicate replenishment needs to management
• Maintain positive communication with service and kitchen staff
• Make Manager aware of guests comments and complaints
• Comply with all policies and procedures for Aspen Hospitality and Aspen One
• Complete tasks and projects delegated by your manager
• High School Diploma or equivalent required
• Previous Barista or preparing & serving alcoholic beverages experience preferred
Knowledge of espresso preparation, coffee beverages, and basic beverage presentation
• Knowledge of wine, beer, and breakfast cocktails, including Mimosas and Bloody Marys
• Ability to obtain and maintain any required alcohol service certification in accordance with state and local regulations
• Understanding of how to assist customers and meet their needs effectively
• Ability to quickly adapt to changes in processes, customer flow, environments, and tasks
• Ability to engage with customers in a positive and helpful manner
