Mom’s Meals, the leading national provider of refrigerated home-delivered meals in the healthcare market, is looking for upbeat, people-first individuals to join our team as Bilingual Customer Service Representatives. In this role, you’ll be one of the first friendly voices our Spanish-speaking customers connect with as they place meal orders. The starting wage is $18.00/hour with weekly pay, PTO, and benefits available after 30 days of employment.

Work hours are Monday-Friday, 9:00am-6:00pm with the potential for overtime starting at 7:00am.

This position will start on Monday, October 26th. 2 weeks of training will take place at our Ankeny office: 3210 SE Corporate Woods Drive, Ankeny IA 50021.

Offer of employment is contingent upon successfully passing a pre-employment drug screen and background check, where permitted by law.  

Position Responsibilities may include, but not limited to

Handle inbound and outbound customer service calls with our clients placing their meal order

Address questions, and provide exceptional customer service

Input order information into the appropriate client order screen

Document all conversations with client into client information database

Ensure all assigned clients are contacted and have an order on file

Contact case managers via telephone, email, and/or fax when a special situation arises regarding one of their clients

Work quickly and efficiently without making the client feel rushed

Required Skills and Experience

Fluent in Spanish and English (Spoken & Written)

High school degree or GED

1 year of previous customer service experience

Basic computer proficiency, including experience learning and using software in a work or school setting

Clear oral communication skills

Ability to deescalate situations and quickly resolve customer complaints

Prior experience adhering to company policies and showing core values

Preferred Skills and Experience

1 year of previous call center experience

Previous experience with auto dialer, multi-line phone system, and/or Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems, Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Teams

Previous experience working with HIPAA policies and procedures

Physical Requirements

Repetitive motions that include the wrists, hands and/or fingers

Sedentary work that primarily involves sitting, remaining in a stationary position for prolonged periods

Visual perception to perform job including peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus
